Tommy Viola joins Colin Hoggard on Charlotte Sports Today to discuss his new job as the Chief Communications Officer for the Knothole Foundation of the Carolinas.
The focus of the Knothole Foundation is to grow the game of youth baseball in Charlotte and make it more accessible to underprivileged kids in the area. So far they have served over 1,500 youth players across all age and skill levels. They have also had $9M of economic impact in the Charlotte area.
Tommy Viola explains to Colin not only his love of baseball but also his experience with the Charlotte Knights and why he is so excited for this next chapter of his career.
