Steve Smith Weighs In On The Panthers Loss To Cincinnati

After the massive win in Vegas, the Carolina Panthers returned to the confines of Bank of America Stadium and lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 34-24. Former legendary WR turned NFL Network analyst Steve Smith joined Kyle Bailey to look at the highs and lows of Sunday’s loss for the Panthers.

When it came to the biggest takeaway, Steve noted that while one side of the ball for the Panthers played relatively well, the defense did not do its part while the Bengals offense played a strong game which made it hard for the Panthers to compete, but Steve noted that the team has improved since week 1, it just so happened that the Bengals played an overall better game across the board.

Steve would later go on to break down what he has seen from the offense of Dave Canales, and how the defense can recover now that Shaq Thompson is out for the year.
