Steve Smith Recaps Another Blowout Loss For The Panthers

It was another Sunday to forget for the Panthers as they fell on the road in blowout fashion thanks to the Commanders by a score of 40-7. Panthers legend turned NFL Analyst Steve Smith joined Kyle Bailey to react to the Panthers ugly loss.

One of the first focus points surrounding the Panthers loss was how bad the defense was even when facing backup QB Marcus Mariota as Steve said it’s the trickle-down effect to losing so many starters on defense, and at this point, no one going to save this defense for the remainder of the season.

Steve would also go on to weigh in on the decision to not play Bryce Young until the final 5 minutes of the game, as well as Diontae Johnson’s post-game comments about the team.
