For the 3rd consecutive week, the Carolina Panthers lost yet another close game, this one coming on the road to the Philadelphia Eagles. Former Panthers WR turned NFL Network analyst Steve Smith joined Kyle Bailey as he gave his biggest observations about the Panthers loss to the Eagles.
The big play that occurred late in the game was Xavier Legette dropping a pass that likely would’ve resulted in a TD as Steve said Xavier is currently dealing with the expectations of being a first-round pick as he noted some of the hardest passes to catch are the ones where you are wide open, and Steve said the hope is you learn from this experience and don’t get too emotional from the mistake moving forward.
Steve also touched on Jonathon Brooks’s 2nd ACL injury, and what he makes of the rumors surrounding Bill Belichick possibly taking the Carolina job.
