Steve Smith Breaks Down The Panthers Season-Opener In NOLA

We are now officially just 6 days away from the Carolina Panthers beginning their 30th season in the NFL. A man who knows a thing or two about the organization is Steve Smith as the NFL Network Analyst joined Kyle Bailey to preview some of the biggest factors in Sunday’s season-opener against the Saints in New Orleans.

Sunday marks a new era for the Panthers as it is the first game with Dave Canales as an HC Steve told Kyle that now just because Canales is the HC doesn’t mean we’ll see a different man as he thinks Dave will have the same philosophies he had as the OC of the Bucs last year, but the larger key in the long run will have to be making his philosophy clear and getting it passed down the coaching staff and to the players much like what Andy Reid has done in both Philly and Kansas City.

Steve would also go on to break down what to expect from the Saints, and what he hopes to see Bryce Young as he starts his 2nd season.
