(CHARLOTTE SPORTS LIVE) — The 4th Annual HEARTest Yard Ungala held at Steak 48 on Monday night was a star-studded event, bringing together celebrities, athletes, and community leaders to support a cause close to the heart of former Panthers Greg Olsen and his family.
The HEARTest Yard Foundation was founded in 2018 by Olsen after his son TJ was diagnosed with congenital heart failure.
Over the years, the foundation has raised more than $8 million to help children battling similar heart conditions. The funds raised at this year’s event will continue to support these children and their families through vital programs and medical assistance.
The event, hosted by FOX Sports and Olsen, featured a range of influential figures from the world of sports and entertainment. Carla Metts with Charlotte Sports Live was on the scene, speaking with attendees who showed up to lend their support.
This year’s event continues to highlight the growing support for the HEARTest Yard, proving that the Charlotte community, and beyond, is rallying behind the cause.
