Shawn Clarks Previews Satruday’s Visit to Death Valley

There are a lot of local college football games this weekend, with great intrigue, as the second week of the 2024 season is already underway. One of those games will take place tomorrow night on the ACC Network, when the Clemson Tigers host the App State Mountaineers, a week after the Tigers got embarrassed by Georgia to open the season. If you watched college football in the last 20 years, you know all about App’s ability to upset power conference competition, or even push them to the brink of an upset, ask North Carolina about it from last season. With Clemson coming off arguably the worst loss of the Dabo Swinney era, it’s unknown how stable the program is, making Clemson a prime target to get beat at home by the Sun Belt conference.

Earlier this week, Shawn Clark, the head coach of the Mountaineers, joined the Mac & Bone show, ahead of Saturday’s contest, as he talked about what he liked about from the season-opening win last weekend over East Tennessee State, he previews the contest this weekend at Clemson, and talks about what allows his program to compete on a regular basis against power conference competition.
