The Panthers hope to top the attendance, facetiously estimated at 10, from their last time hosting the Falcons
The Carolina Panthers are heading into Week 6 feeling about as they have for the past seven seasons. That is to say, nobody is happy or hopeful. What comes next is anybody’s guess. It’s not that all the spark of Dave Canales the Optimist Bully has died out, it’s just that fans are tired of losing badly.
The odds have been stacked against this team from the beginning and mounting injuries have done nothing to improve them. The idea of being competitive feels very far away.
Canales and Andy Dalton have every chance of lighting a fire under the Atlanta Falcons and thus brightening all our days. But we’ll believe it when we see it and not before. So let’s chat, commiserate, and see.
As always, use this space to talk about the action as it unfolds.
You know the drill.
