DENVER, CO. (BLACK & BLUE KICKOFF LIVE) — The Panthers are in the Mile High City for a battle against the Broncos with Bryce Young back at quarterback.
To say Bryce Young didn’t perform well in his two starts this season might be an understatement. He had 299 passing yards on 56.9% completion with zero touchdowns and three interceptions. One of the few bright spots for the offense this season has been running back Chuba Hubbard who has the fifth-most rushing yards (537) in the NFL, and the fourth-best yards per attempt (5.2) among players with at least 80 carries.
A lot is yet to be determined for the 2024 Panthers, as a good game from Bryce Young could see him start again in the future. However, a bad game and the Panthers might look to sell players such as wide receiver Diontae Johnson, according to NFL insiders.
#Panthers QB Bryce Young is back as the team’s starting QB. And if he plays up to his capabilities, there is a good chance he continues starting.

Although the offense hasn’t been good, the defense hasn’t been much better. Through seven games, Carolina has allowed 243 points- 34.7 points per game- which is by far the most in the NFL. It doesn’t help they are without captains Shaq Thompson and Derrick Brown for the rest of the season.
The Broncos, led by rookie quarterback Bo Nix, are middle-of-the-road in scoring with 20.7 points per game. Among quarterbacks with at least 100 pass attempts, Nix has the lowest completion percentage at 61.2%.
This may be the rematch of Super Bowl L in 2016, but this game will most likely look far from it.
The Panthers are 2-6 all-time against the Denver Broncos but won the last meeting in 2022 at home 23-10.
Sunday’s game at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium starts at 4:25 p.m.
