The Panthers face the Jets in the preseason after several joint practices
The Carolina Panthers are finishing their preseason slate with a visit to the Buffalo Bills. A perennial powerhouse since the dream team of general manager Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott left Charlotte for the cold, dark, well-run north, the Bills present a tough opponent for the Panthers. Carolina, meanwhile, is simply looking to notch their first preseason win since they defeated the Bills on August 26th, 2022 under the comedic stylings of then-head coach Matt Rhule.
The big question before us, of course, is whether or not the starters will play. The Bills have already announced that Josh Allen and company will be resting this game. Dave Canales has given mixed signals as to the Panthers starters in recent weeks, but came out yesterday saying that he did “hope” to play the starters briefly.
