CHARLOTTE (CHARLOTTE SPORTS LIVE) — The Panthers have released former first-round pick K’Lavon Chaisson, the announced on Tuesday.
Chaisson, a former first round pick by the Jaguars in 2020, was expected to start alongside Jadeveon Clowney after singing withe Carolina in the spring.
During his four-year tenure in Jacksonville, Chaisson only started 11 games and totaled 73 tackles, five sacks and two passes defeneded.
The Panthers’ outside linebacker room now consists of DJ Johnson, Eku Leota, and Jamie Sheriff.
