All of us are just ready to see what moves this team makes in the offseason
The Carolina Panthers are heading into their 2024 season finale with a more emotionally stable fanbase than their opponents, the Atlanta Falcons. While the Panthers have seen highs and lows in fan confidence this season, mirrored by highs and lows on the football field, they’ve haven’t been as reactionary as the readers over at the Falcoholic, whose fans’ confidence has wavered between a season low of 7% and a season high of 94%. Get a load of those guys.
I think that speaks very highly of how Carolinians at large have handled the stress and trauma of watching the Panthers over the past seven or so years. Our season low confidence rating of 17% came between Bryce Young’s first two abysmal starts of the season and the season high of 88% came off of a three week stretch where that same Young played the Kansas City Chiefs, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers down to the wire.
Currently, 78% of fans are reporting themselves as confident in the direction of the franchise. That is down from 86% the week before. That fits with the way a lot of fans react to a loss, no matter how expected that loss is. Most of you have kept level heads and reacted with the evidence over the course of the season. Good on you.
This is our final Reacts poll within the 2024 season. We’ll be back next week for a season wrap up and then again throughout the offseason to check the temperature of the fanbase after big moves and signings.
This week’s poll results brought to you by Fanduel Sportsbook.
