CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CHARLOTTE SPORTS LIVE) — J.J. Jansen is gearing up for his 16th season as the long snapper in the Queen City.
The 38-year-old signed a one-year deal in the off-season to continue his streak of being the oldest and longest-tenured player on the roster. When the Panthers named Dave Canales the new head coach, it represented the fifth Jansen would play under in Carolina.
In this interview with CSL’s Grace Grill, the specialist discusses Canales, training camp overall and year two for quarterback Bryce Young.
Further, he shares his thoughts on the new kickoff rules this season in the NFL, and his new opportunity as one of the new owners of the Charlotte Checkers.
