Transactions
Signed CB Caleb Farley to the active roster. The 2021 first round pick by the Tennessee Titans has bounced around the Panthers practice squad and active roster this season. Due to ACL and back injuries he appeared in just 12 games total in his first two NFL seasons then missed the entirety of the 2023 campaign. This year he has appeared in three games for the Panthers with five tackles.
Signed DE Sam Roberts to the practice squad. The 6-foot-5, 295-pound defensive end was a sixth round pick in 2022 by the New England Patriots. He appeared in 12 games in two seasons with the Pats with seven tackles before being released and landing with the Panthers.
Placed TE Ian Thomas on injured reserve. The veteran tight end will miss at least the next four weeks by landing on the IR.
