The Carolina Panthers have themselves one heck of an injury report here in Week 17. But at least they’re confident about the statuses of two key offensive players.
Both running back Chuba Hubbard (knee) and wide receiver Xavier Legette (hip/wrist) have been deemed questionable for this Sunday’s contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Head coach Dave Canales, however, didn’t seem to think they’re too questionable for the NFC South showdown.
Here’s what Canales told reporters following Friday’s practice:

Hubbard is fresh off rushing for 152 yards and two touchdowns in the team’s Week 16 win over the Arizona Cardinals. He was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his triumphant performance.
Legette missed the overtime victory due to his hip injury.
They likely won’t be joined by a few other notable names, including right tackle Taylor Moton (knee) and cornerback Jaycee Horn (hip)—who are doubtful. In addition, linebacker Josey Jewell (concussion/quadriceps) and nickel cornerback Chau Smith-Wade (illness/chest) have already been ruled out.
