Everyone is absolutely loving the new nickname for Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young . . . maybe except for Bryce Young. But one of his hog mollies just might have an alternative for him.
Starting right guard Robert Hunt was asked about Young’s “Carolina Reaper” moniker following Thursday’s practice. Although the fifth-year hog molly seems to agree with the sentiment—since Young’s Panthers really have proved to be the kiss of death for three men’s jobs and one team’s playoff hopes—he also empathized with his teammate.
Young, on Wednesday, implied to reporters that the nickname sounds a little too evil for his taste. So, Hunt has his own title for his quarterback . . .

You might have to excuse Hunt’s French, but he’s not wrong. Young has looked and played like one bad . . . well, ya know . . . since his return to the starting lineup.
Over his last seven starts, the former No. 1 overall pick has completed 61.1 percent of his passes for 1,650 yards (206.6 yards per game), 10 touchdowns and six interceptions while also recording three rushing scores. The Panthers are 3-4 in those outings.
Unfortunately for Hunt, however, his nickname may not be as marketable as the evil one.
