The time has come, will the team sell what they can?
The 2-7 Carolina Panthers may be hot off of doubling their 2024 win total—and matching their 2023 win total as well—but that doesn’t mean they are going to let nascent discussions of the playoffs distract them from the long term plan for rebuilding this team.
Years and years and years of bad drafting have left the team talent poor and desperate for contributors on rookie contracts. That means they could well be sellers at the trade deadline. You’ll find plenty of people online telling you that the team isn’t moving anybody and plenty more that any contract not nailed down will be gone by Wednesday. What actually happens is anybody’s guess.
That deadline to finalize all NFL trades this season is Tuesday November 5th at 4:00 PM ET. Keep your eyes here for all rumors and actual trades.

Rumors:
Jadaveon Clowney – All signs point to Clowney wanting to go play for an actual contender. You’ll see his name attached to any team currently in need of a veteran edge rusher, which probably qualifies as every NFL team with a winning record.
Bryce Young – He’s a hot commodity for rumors. For those who haven’t been paying any attention, the fact that Young’s play has not matched his draft status is enough reason for the Panthers to flip him for a conditional seventh or a cone of ice cream. Expect Young to stay put unless the Panthers get offered something real, like a Day 2 pick or greater. That’s not going to happen.
Adam Thielen – Thielen is currently within his practice window to return from injured reserve. He is a capable, veteran wide receiver when healthy and could fetch some interest, including from the Pittsburgh Steelers, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
