Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard has officially made it.
The fourth-year rusher has been knighted by longtime ESPN sportscaster and legendary moniker manufacturer Chris Berman. While presenting the highlights of Carolinaโs Week 12 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs at halftime of last nightโs Monday Night Football broadcast, Berman continued to bestow the following title upon Hubbard . . .

Yeah, the man still has his fastball.
And needless to say, โChuba Missile Crisisโ is a hit with NFL fans . . .
Chris Berman calling Chuba Hubbard the Chuban Missile Crisis is outstanding.

That top-tier title is just one of the latest accomplishments for Hubbard, who is having himself a very memorable 2024.
Prior to the Week 10 trip to Munich, Germany, the Panthers signed Hubbard to a well-deserved four-year, $33.2 million extension. The deal now makes him the ninth-highest paid running back in the NFL on an annual basis.
He also enters Week 13 as the leagueโs fifth-leading rusher (876 yards).
