Perhaps it’s time the Carolina Panthers make a big-time move to get “Big Boy Bryce” some big-league help.
Underdog Network’s Josh Norris and Hayden Winks recently came up with eight trades they want to see happen during the 2025 season. And Norris, who is certainly no stranger to the black and process blue, proposed the following deal involving the Panthers and New York Jets wideout Garrett Wilson . . .
The 24-year-old Wilson is set to enter the fourth season of his rookie contract. The Jets, in fact, will have to decide if they want to add another—as the deadline for clubs to exercise the fifth-year options on their 2022 first-round picks falls on May 1. (They will.)
But if the new New York Jets—under first-year head coach Aaron Glenn—value having the seventh and eighth overall picks over Wilson at this point, should the Panthers come calling?
Well, they still need a certified No. 1 receiver for quarterback Bryce Young, and that first-round pick won’t guarantee them one. But Wilson, who has hit the 1,000-yard receiving mark in each of his three NFL campaigns, would.
Plus, general manager Dan Morgan expressed his desire to land playmakers on both sides of the ball this offseason. Sounds like Wilson to us.
So, yeah, maybe that one little tweet wasn’t so innocuous after all . . .
