It was another sad Monday show on the Mac & Bone Show, as the guys had to talk about the 28-14 loss to the Broncos, to fall to 1-7 on the 2024 season. Bryce Young made his return to the lineup, and started the game 5-5, for 39 yards, and a touchdown, before the Broncos’ pass rush, was able to overwhelm Carolina’s offensive line, and make their offense struggle to put together drives. In total, Young did throw for more net yards than any other QB has so far this season against Denver, and displayed some progression, after being benched after the first two games of the season. With the season all but lost once again, the main thing for the rest of the season is to develop the young talent that’s on the roster in guys like Xavier Legette, and Trevin Wallace, while trying to find out what they have in Young at the QB position.
