MUNICH, GER. (BLACK & BLUE KICKOFF LIVE) — Munich is opening its arms to the Giants and Panthers who square off in Week 10.
New York and Carolina are two of nine teams with a league-low two wins. Every team is still fighting for victories, but it’ll be hard to get a top-5 pick this year with how many teams are below .500 (15).
Both teams are bottom-five in points per game and are in the bottom half of the NFL in most offensive categories. The two best players on each team’s offense, rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers for the Giants and running back Chuba Hubbard for the Panthers, should have big games as the Panthers have a bad secondary and the Giants have a below-average run defense.
The Giants’ defense, led by DT Dexter Lawrence and former Panther Brian Burns, lead the NFL with 35 sacks. However, they are tied for a league-low in interceptions with one. Bryce Young and the offense getting the ball out quickly or keeping it on the ground with Hubbard should be their game plan to beat Big Blue.
The Panthers have beaten the Giants 7 times in 13 total games, but New York has won the last two games. The most recent game in New York with a final score of 19-16.
The Giants have played three games across the pond and the Panthers have only played one, but neither team came back to the States with a loss. That will change for one of them this week.
Sunday’s game between the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers starts at 9:30 a.m. EST in Arena in Munich starts at 9:30 a.m. EST.
