Day 1: Competitive mentality and teamwork focused as Panthers training camp starts

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The first day of Panthers training camp kicked off with forty new faces added to the roster.

At training camp, Head Coach Dave Canales worked to emphasize having a competitive mentality, using it to push to be better and better each day.

“A big part of what I have to do to teach this team is, we’re not competing against each other, we’re not competing against another team, we are competing to find our best on a daily basis,” Canales said. “As a team, if we’re competing to find our best, I think that’s when you make the most progress.”

Training camp continues tomorrow, July 15 at 9:30 a.m.
