Dave Canales Breaks Down The Panthers-Saints Week 1 Matchup

We are just days away from the Panthers kicking off their 2024 season on the road against the New Orleans Saints. HC Dave Canales joined Kyle Bailey to preview some of the biggest factors in the Panthers road trip to NOLA.

One of the biggest keys Dave Canales told Kyle will play a direct role in this game on Sunday is whether or not the Panthers can protect the football and not turn it over. Coach Canales said that if they don’t turn the ball over, they can play the style they want to and he pointed out that this strategy has been of heavy importance heading into Sunday.

Coach Canales would go on to discuss the improvements he’s seen from LT Ikem Ekwonu, as well as the depth at Edge heading into the season.
