Not even this past Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers can tank Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn’s stock.
Quinn completed an interview with the Carolina Panthers this Wednesday. He’s one of the most experienced candidates on their radar.
The Panthers fired Frank Reich after just 11 games this season. They finished the season with Chris Tabor as their interim coach.
Quinn might have the luxury of picking which job he wants this offseason. Over the next 48 hours, he’s going to meet with a few more teams.
On Thursday, Quinn is expected to interview with the Washington Commanders and Seattle Seahawks. There are plenty of analysts who believe a reunion with Seattle makes the most sense for him.
Quinn will then meet with the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday. That should be an intriguing job considering the team’s quarterback situation.
The Cowboys had one of the top passing defenses under Quinn this season, allowing only 3,481 yards through the air. And yet, the secondary struggled to contain the Packers on Wild Card Weekend.
It’ll be interesting to see how this coaching carousel plays out for Quinn.
