Charlotte FC will open its fourth season of MLS play on the road in 2025 with their second-ever road match in Seattle against the Seattle Sounders on Saturday, February 22nd.
The match in Washington marks just the second time (and first since the inaugural season) that The Crown has opened on the road. Charlotte FC will open its 17-game home slate the following Saturday afternoon against rival Atlanta United on Saturday, March 1st at 2 PM. That game will feature a national television audience.
During its third season with all 34 matches avaialable on Apple TV, MLS strived to create more viewing windows leading to staggered kickoff times and alternate days, including Charlotte FC’s first-ever regular season Friday matchup at New York City FC in September.
Charlotte will play three first-time opponents from the Western Conference including home matches against the San Jose Earthquakes and expansion club San Diego FC, along with their first-ever visit to Sporting KC for a road fixture. Highly-anticipated matches include the July 5th home playoff rematch against Orlando City SC and the September 13th tilt against Lionel Messi and Inter Miami.
