Brent Pry Weighs In On The Growing Expectations For The Hokies

The Virginia Tech Hokies are coming off a 2023 season with steady progress and a win in the Military Bowl over Tulane. Coach Brent Pry is entering his 3rd season as the Head Coach of the Hokies with growing expectations within the fanbase entering 2024. Coach Pry joined Kyle Bailey to preview the upcoming season for the Hokies and if they can take another step forward.

Some people are looking at Virginia Tech as a dark horse in the ACC this year, and when asked about the growing hype for the Hokies by Kyle Coach Pry, he is glad that people are talking about Virginia Tech positively. Still, he noted that his team was ignoring the noise when they were 1-3 last year when no one on the outside was speaking positively and he wants his team to trust the process while remaining humble and hungry.

Coach Pry would go on to discuss the growth he wants to see from QB Kyron Drones, as well as if he has to change his coaching style now that the playoffs have expanded.
