If you go and look at the MLS table, you’ll find Charlotte FC at the top of the Eastern Conference standings, after their home win last weekend. It marks the first time Charlotte has been in first place in their young history, but it is a sign of how far this organization has come and what is in store under manager Dean Smith. FC features a high-scoring attack, as they are second in the MLS in goals scored, all while allowing the fewest goals so far this season. That complimentary style of soccer, combined with their home-field advantage, has them poised to be legit contenders the rest of the season.
Earlier today, Charlotte FC midfielder Brandt Bronico joined the Mac & Bone Show, as he talked about Charlotte FC’s hot start to the season, he talks about the areas the club can still improve, what makes Dean Smith such a tactical manager, and shares the story behind how he proposed to his wife using a pizza box, and more.
You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show) every weekday morning from 6-10 AM, on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ and and the WFNZ app.
