Charlotte Hornets wing Brandon Miller, an All-Rookie First Team selection last season, was named to the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars event at All-Star Weekend in San Francisco for the second consecutive year.
Despite this honor, Miller will not be able to play in the game due to being out for the season following wrist surgery. Miller sustained a wrist injury against Utah on Jan. 15 before being declared out for the season a week later.
He had been averaging 21.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game this season, with 3.9 3-pointers made per game.
The 22-year-old has appeared in 101 games (95 starts) across two NBA seasons and holds career averages of 18.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
