Welcome to Sunday Night Football
Sunday Night Football is back this week featuring another primetime game for the Cincinnati Bengals. They are taking on Jim Harbaugh’s Los Angeles Chargers in a game that was expected to have bigger playoff seeding implications in the preseason. Instead, the teams are a combined 10-9 and neither are guaranteed even a wildcard slot. All Sunday Night Football games kick off at 8:20 ET on NBC.
As always in our brave new world of expansive sports gambling, it is now easier to bet on games than to watch them. You can catch current odds on all NFL games for Week 11 here on FanDuel.
As for the game tonight, neither team has a strong record against good teams but neither team is exactly bad in their own right. Growing pains for the Bengals with a new offensive coordinator and for the Chargers under Harbaugh as their new head coach have slowed teams who could have gotten off to fast starts.
FanDuel has this game as a borderline toss up. I’m still struggling to explain how the Bengals have only beaten Carolina Panthers quality teams this season, so I can”t trust them on the road just yet. That’s why I’m picking the Los Angeles Chargers tonight.
As always, use this space to talk about the action as it unfolds.
You know the drill.
This is now an open thread!
