Week 4 in the NFL saw a pretty uniform week with very little upsets around the league. Some teams got their first win as others struggled to keep their offense on the field. We’ve seen teams seperate themselves from in their respective division rivals, and we’ve seen players take a leading stride for Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year, and Comeback Player of the Year.
Here are the top 10 takeaways from the NFL in week 4.
Titans and Bengals are back on the saddle
Both teams in a must-win situations after a horrendous 0-3 to the season, the Cincinnati Bengals and Tennessee Titans were able to eek out a win against their respective opponents to get in the win column this week. Despite Joe Burrows two interceptions, his favorite running mate Jamar Chase scored two touchdowns of his own and the team held up defensively to secure a win against the Carolina Panthers. We seen Titans superb kicker Nick Folk put up 15 points himself along with a stiff defense that held the Dolphins offense to just 12 points on the night.

Bears ‘Swiftly’ handle the competition
Bears running back DeAndre Swift had an MVP performance Sunday (9/29), posting a total 165 yards against the Los Angeles Rams. With the Rams defense unable to stop Swift on the ground (93 yards, 1 touchdown) or through the air (7 catches, 72 yards), the Chicago offense continued to feed swift all game for a total of 23 touches.

Baker “MVP” Mayfield
After a quick slip in Denver, the Buccaneers come back home and right their wrongs against the Philadelphia Eagles. As it was clear that the Eagles defense was effected by what felt like 100 degree weather, Baker Mayfield slowly dissected the defense for a 347 yard, two touchdown day; leading the Buccaneers to a 33-16 win over the Eagles.

Eagles need ER, Emergency Rescue
Philadelphia has some things to figure out after their loss to the Buccaneers. What doesn’t seem like the end of the world with a 2-2 record, is layered atop some deep rooted issues within the organization. Fans are starting to take notice of the discourse of the team since their glue guy Jason Kelce has retired. There has also been some questionable play calls from the head coach that could be argued as asinine, most notably last weeks 4th down failure against the New Orleans Saints. The Eagles have a bye week to figure things out, and most fans would not be surprised if they were changes made to the staff in the meantime.

Sam ‘Comeback Kid’ Darnold
Sam Darnold has put up another clutch performance against the Green Bay Packers to extend their undefeated streak to 4-0. Darnold threw for 275 yards, 2 touchdowns, and it the key ingredient to the Vikings undefeated streak so far. If you are a betting man, it wouldn’t hurt to sprinkle some money on Sam Darnold comeback player of the year. (+250 on FanDuel sportsbook)

Justin Fields is QB1
Despite a road loss to the Indianapolis Colts, the Steelers have gotten their best performance from Justin Fields this season. The young stud had a total of 367 all purpose yards (312 passing), 3 touchdowns (2 rushing) and 0 interceptions. A statline he’s never posted before and a statline head coach Mike Tomlin would like to see more of.

Washington COMMANDS your attention
Rookie QB Jayden Daniels is leading the Washington Commanders to unexpected territory. The Commanders put a 42-14 beating on the Arizona Cardinals to remain sitting pretty at 1st place in the NFC East. Brian Robinson had a 100 yard rushing day and the defense was clicking on all cylinders, holding their opponent to just two scores.

Is Worthy worth it?
The Kansas City Chiefs have gone from bad to worse. After losing their starting running back Isaiah Pacheco, their star WR Rashee Rice is not ruled out with a torn ACL. Kansas City remains undefeated but that record could truly be at risk.
Trade Xavier Worthy
Week 4 Stats:
– 16.3 Fantasy Points
– 3 catches, 73 yards, 1 TDWhile his target share will likely increase with Rice missing the rest of the season but HC Andy Reid specifically said it would be a committed approach when asked about Worthy stepping… pic.twitter.com/iXPm6HRySI

If Derrick Henry is coming, just roll over
The Ravens literally steamrolled over the Bills Sunday night (9/29), giving Buffalo their first loss on the season. Derrick Henry was one yard shy of a 200-yard rushing day, however, his 10 receiving yards put Henry over the threshold for 209 all purpose yards. Meanwhile Lamar Jackson didn’t have much to do but cruise control to a win as all he was required to do was hand the ball off to the king. Pretty sure he could get used to saving his energy and doing that all season.

Do the Dolphins need to dial up Tom Brady?
After suffering another loss to the Tennessee Titans — who got their first win — the Dolphins should look into calling back the Goat to come suit up. Brady has talked about playing for the Dolphins amid retirement talks. Ultimately, a deal was never reached and Brady decided to hang it up. But if the Dolphins called, would Brady pick up?
Why isn’t Tom Brady the Dolphins quarterback?
