No Kochetkov, but Seth Jarvis returns to the lineup tonight.
The Carolina Hurricanes start an important homestand tonight as they host the Dallas Stars at the Lenovo Center.
The Canes will be without the services of both of their primary goalies as Fred Andersen recovers from surgery and Pyotr Kochetkov is in “concussion protocol”. He will be out for an indefinite period of time, for now.
The Hurricanes will now be relying on the third goalie in their system, Spencer Martin to hold the fort. They recently recalled Yaniv Perets to backup Martin.
Martin has started in three games and has a 1-2 record with a 3.21 GAA and .870 save percentage.
Walt has posted the lines on “X”.
The #Canes are on the ice for morning skate before hosting Dallas this evening.
Spencer Martin is in the starter’s crease and Yaniv Perets is at the opposite end of the ice.
Pyotr Kochetkov is not with the group.
