The Canes come up short in Florida.
The Carolina Hurricanes travelled to Sunrise, Florida with the idea of evening up their back-to-back matchup but instead fell short as they lost 6-0 on Saturday.
The Canes were outshot 35-20 and did not look good in this one.
Spencer Martin made 23 saves on 28 shots taken.
Martin now has a 3-4 record with 3.89 GAA and save percentage of .846.
Yaniv Perets came in late in the third and allowed one goal on seven shots.
The team was probably due for a stinker and will look to reverse course against the Kraken on Tuesday night.
