Canes look to gain momentum after big win on Thursday
The Carolina Hurricanes (34-21-4) take on the Edmonton Oilers (34-21-4) tonight at the Lenovo Center. Game time is 7 P.M.
The Hurricanes are coming off a huge 5-2 win against the Sabres but they are 4-5-1 in their last 10 games. They have had a rough time finding consistency and will look to start that tonight.
The Oilers are in the midst of a rough patch. They have lost five games in a row and they are 3-6-1 in their last 10.
It looks like coach Rod Brind’Amour will go with the same lines he stuck with for most of the game on Thursday night.
Walt Ruff reported the following from the morning skate.
No surprises for the #Canes at their morning skate before taking on Edmonton tonight.
Frederik Andersen is in the starter’s crease and it is the same setup of skaters from Thursday’s win over Buffalo.
