We open up NHL predictions with a Central Division matchup between the Dallas Stars and Minnesota Wild. Dallas is confirmed to start with Jake Oettinger in between the pipes. The Stars are 8-1-1 in the last 10 games, but are coming off a loss. Evgenii Dadonov registered a hat trick last time out.
Filip Gustavsson is the projected starter for the Wild, who are 4-4-2 in the last 10 games. Minnesota has lost four straight games entering this divisional matchup. Matt Boldy has recorded 25 goals with 39 assists for the Wild.
Dallas is coming off a loss, but should bounce back with a win.
Prediction: Stars win 4-2.
Columbus Blue Jackets vs Ottawa Senators
Head-to-Head: Blue Jackets 0-1 Senators
Time: 5 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
TV: TSN5; Fan Duel Sports Ohio; ESPN+
We go to our featured game of NHL predictions between the Blue Jackets and Senators. Columbus is likely to start Daniil Tarasov in the net for this game. The Blue Jackets are hitting a rough patch with a 3-6-1 record with a two-game losing streak heading into this one. Zach Werenski leads the team in assists (54) and points (74) this season.
Linus Ullmark is the probable starter for the Senators. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Sens are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. Ottawa has won two straight games prior to this game. Drake Batherson has registered 22 goals and 38 assists for the Senators.
This is an important game for both teams. However, Ottawa gets two vital points.
Prediction: Senators win 5-3.
Florida Panthers vs Detroit Red Wings
Head-to-Head: Panthers 0-1 Red Wings
Time: 5:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

Our last game of NHL predictions has the Florida Panthers visiting the Detroit Red Wings. Vitek Vanecek is the expected starter for the Panthers, who are on a four-game losing streak entering this game. Sam Reinhart is first in goals (37) and points (78) so far this season.
Detroit is going with Cam Talbot in the nets for this game. The Red Wings are 4-5-1 in the last 10 games, but are coming off a win entering this Atlantic Division matchup. Lucas Raymond is first in assists (48) and points (74) this campaign.
Florida has a rash of injuries and Detroit is still fighting for its Stanley Cup Playoff life.
Prediction: Red Wings win 4-3.
Prop Bets of the Night
We round out our NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game of the night. For Columbus, take Kirill Marchenko to score a goal in this one. On the Ottawa side, take Jake Sanderson to get the over on 0.5 assists.
