The Canes try to get back on the winning side of things against Seattle.
After two consecutive losses to the Florida Panthers by a total of a 12-3 margin, the Carolina Hurricanes return home for a game against the Seattle Kraken tonight. Game time is 7 P.M.
Unlike the previous two contests, the Canes should have goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov back between the pipes. It was reported on “X” that he was in the starter’s crease during the morning skate.
Carolina came out on top in an earlier meeting in Seattle and won, 4-1.
No other changes for the Hurricanes have been announced.
Walt Ruff was at the morning skate –
Pyotr Kochetkov is in the starter’s crease at #Canes morning skate ahead of tonight’s contest against Seattle.
One would have to think that it is a good sign that he cleared the final stage of concussion protocol, but we’ll see what Rod Brind’Amour says shortly.
