The Canes look to make it three wins in a row.
The Carolina Hurricanes (26-15-2) host the Anaheim Ducks (17-20-5) today as they retire the jersey of Eric Staal.
The Staal ceremony will begin at about 3:30 while puck drop should be at about 5 P.M.
FanDuel will be televising both events for fans.
The Canes are riding a two game winning streak. They are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games.
The Ducks have lost three games in a row, including a 6-0 drubbing against the Flyers on Saturday. They are 4-5-1 in their last 10.
Look for Pyotr Kochetkov to be back between the pipes for Carolina.
Since John Gibson played yesterday, the Ducks will likely start Lukas Dostal in net.
Ty Smith was placed on waivers yesterday but if he is not picked up, he could play today. There were no other announcements regarding other official moves for the team as of this writing.
