The Carolina Hurricanes (36-22-4) do battle with the Boston Bruins (28-27-8) tonight at the Lenovo Center. Game time is 7 P.M and it will be televised by the Fanduel Sports Network.
The Canes have won two games in a row but they are 4-6-0 in their last 10 games.
The Bruins have lost two in a row. They have a 3-5-2 record in their last 10 but they are battling for a wild card spot.
Pyotr Kochetkov was the first goalie off the ice for Carolina and should start tonight. The lines were reported to be the same from the last couple of games.
The #Canes will try for a third consecutive win tonight when they host Boston.

With the trade deadline looming tomorrow, there is a lot of chatter all around the league about Mikko Rantanen. The Canes held him out of interviews after the morning skate. I wish I had some grand insight, but all I can do is guess like everyone else out there.
We will have an open thread tomorrow for trade deadline related chatter.
