Tom Thayer Gives us the Bears Perspective Ahead of Sunday

Week 5 of the NFL is underway, and on Sunday, the Panthers will travel to Chicago, to take on the Bears, seeking their second win of the 2024 season. Andy Dalton is 1-1, since taking over for Bryce Young, and will look to beat his former team, as his revenge tour continues.

The Bears are coming off a home win over the Rams and sit at 2-2 after the first month of the season, despite uneven play from rookie QB, Caleb Williams. The two teams will be linked for the foreseeable future, after a trade back in 2023, which allowed the Panthers to draft Bryce Young. After the Panthers disastrous 2023 season, it allowed the Bears to draft Caleb Williams, therefore linking the two franchises for at least the next decade.
