Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball exited Sunday’s game early due to a strained right ankle. Ball was injured in a first-half collision with Paolo Banchero of the Orlando Magic. He landed awkwardly and then had to be helped to the locker room after staying down for a while.
Last season, Ball missed the Hornets final 19 games due to a fractured right ankle. Ball had previously sprained his left ankle on multiple occasions last season.
