The Charlotte Hornets would have interest in hiring Quin Snyder as head coach should he not return to the Utah Jazz.
Snyder was an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Lakers during the tenure of Mitch Kupchak.
Snyder is expected to meet with reporters in the coming days for his end-of-season news conference.
While Snyder’s future with the Jazz has been in doubt, Justin Zanik said on Friday there’s “no other partner” he would rather have as head coach.
The Hornets have had a very quiet coaching process since firing James Borrego.
