CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Hornets are keeping its Queen City flavor, after re-signing Seth Curry to a one-year, the team announced Monday.
The Charlotte native was traded to the Hornets last February from Dallas, and scored 9 points a game coming off the bench in eight contests before an injured sidelined him. The Hornets then waived him on June 28.
Curry, the son of Hornets legend and broadcaster Dell Curry, is third all-time in NBA history by shooting 43.1 percent from 3-point range.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed, per team policy.
He and brother and Stephen attended Charlotte Christian. Hornets forward Grant Williams also is from the Queen City.
The Hornets next Summer League game is Wednesday against the Celtics.
