The Hornets have considered re-signing Isaiah Thomas, who finished last season with the team. They’ve also looked into bringing Kemba Walker back to Charlotte after he’s waived by Detroit Pistons.
Charlotte has also added Elfrid Payton to their list of options, per Marc Stein. Payton played in 50 games for the Phoenix Suns last season. The eight-year veteran has also played with the Orlando Magic, New Orleans Pelicans, New York Knicks, in addition to a previous stint with the Suns in 2018.
