The Cleveland Cavaliers are interested in Miles Bridges in restricted free agency.
Bridges was not signed during the 2022 offseason following his domestic violence arrest and subsequent no contest plea. Bridges received a 30-game suspension with a portion applied to the 22-23 season.
Bridges received a $7.9 million qualifying offer from the Charlotte Hornets, which gives them match rights.
The Cavaliers have the $12.4 million midlevel exception they could offer Bridges, but the Hornets would match. Bridges’ camp expects to receive a more lucrative offer.
The Cavaliers have limited trade assets available on a potential sign-and-trade.
