CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CHARLOTTE SPORTS LIVE) — The Charlotte Hornets may see a sight for sore eyes in Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
The team listed second-year wing Brandon Miller as questionable on its injury report Wednesday night after being out since Dec. 16. He left the game that night against the Sixers with a right ankle sprain and has missed the last three games.
Miller is averaging 21.5 points per game, second on the team behind LaMelo Ball’s 30, while also grabbing 5.2 rebounds and dishing 3.5 assists. He’s also second to Ball with 3.9 3-pointers made per game.
The Hornets (7-22) are looking to snap a five-game losing streak when they travel to Washington (4-23). Tip off is at 7 p.m. They’ve lost 13 of their last 14 games following an overtime win over Detroit Nov. 21.
Guard Tre Mann will be out again with disc irritation.
The team also has sent guards K.J Simpson and Nick Smith Jr. to the its G-League team, the Greensboro Swarm.
