(CHARLOTTE SPORTS LIVE) — NBA Summer League in Las Vegas is about to tip off for the Charlotte Hornets, and we here at CSL couldn’t be more excited.
The Hornets tip off their desert slate Saturday against the Knicks. But before the action gets underway, here’s some things we want you to look out for.
1. It’s the newest Hornet himself, Tidjane Salaun.
The 6-foot-9 rookie forward is loaded with potential, but we want to see what he can do now. As you watch this month, keep an eye on his passing as well as his ability to move without the ball.
2. Brandon Miller.
Fresh off his stint practicing with Team USA, we want to see just how good Charlotte’s second-year star has become. If he has indeed taken that next step, we should see some signs out in Sin City.
3. This one just so happens to involve… the number 3.
The NBA allows each team to have three two-way players, and Charlotte is in the market to find its third. Vegas might be one where one of the Hornets’ young stars gets lucky with the contract.
So there you have it: a summary for Summer League.
Now hopefully, you’re as excited as we are!
