The Hornets announced on Wednesday that Blaine Mueller and Jermaine Bucknor would be joining Lee’s staff along with former C’s point guard Kemba Walker. Mueller spent the past year coaching the Maine Celtics to their most successful season in G-League history, finishing one game shy of a title after a loss to the Oklahoma City Blue in Game 3 of the Finals. Bucknor was a part of Joe Mazzulla’s coaching staff for a single season, working his way into the NBA coaching ranks after a successful pro career overseas.
