A family in Charlotte is suing LaMelo Ball for seriously injuring a child. According to Jason Stoogenke from WSOC-TV, a woman has filed a lawsuit against the Charlotte Hornets star for driving over her kid’s foot in October. Her kid, Angell, 11 at the time, was asking for an autograph at a Hornets event when he suddenly went down to the ground after Ball drove off having not signed anything. “I just seen my son kind of go down, and I thought maybe he had dropped something,” she said. The impact broke the kid’s foot, and he spent months recovering from the incident. The family wanted Ball’s insurance company to pay for the child’s medical bills, but the police report filed at the scene was missing key information, the family’s lawyer, Cameron DeBrun, told WSOC-TV.
