Wake Forest continues to stay on the bubble with only a few weeks to go until Selection Sunday.
Even though the Demon Deacons are 21st in KenPom, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has them as one of his first four teams out for the NCAA Tournament.
Steve Forbes, who coaches the Demon Deacons, doesn’t understand why Lunardi always criticizes the ACC and doesn’t like it when he strays out of his lane.
“I don’t know how Bracketology works. I stay in my lane. I leave it to the experts. Joel Lunardi at ESPN, he’s an expert. He’s carved out a great career doing it and so good for him,” Forbes said. “The problem that I have with Joe in regards to the ACC is he doesn’t like to stay in his lane. He’s criticized our league and our players in the past.”

Right now, Lunardi only had four ACC teams in his field of 68 (Clemson, Duke, North Carolina, and Virginia) but that could change over the next few weeks.
If the Demon Deacons can close out the regular season on a strong note and make a run at the ACC Tournament, it’s going to be hard for Lunardi to leave them out of his bracket.
