Not even North Carolina legend Michael Jordan is off limits when it comes to the trash talk being thrown around by South Carolina fans.
On Saturday morning, a South Carolina fan brought a clever sign to the set of ESPN’s “College GameDay.”
The sign going viral on Saturday said, “Even Jordan couldn’t win in Charlotte.”
This was obviously a jab at Jordan’s stint as the owner of the Charlotte Hornets. In June, he agreed to sell his majority stake in the franchise for approximately $3 billion.
The Hornets struggled throughout Jordan’s 13-year run in Charlotte. This past season, the team went 27-55.

Tonight’s game between North Carolina and South Carolina should be epic, especially if Drake Maye and Spencer Rattler play up to their potential.
According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, the Tar Heels have a 57.5 percent chance of defeating the Gamecocks.
What can’t be measured by analytics is the fact that South Carolina has home-field advantage for tonight’s game. That should play a major factor.
Kickoff for this Saturday’s game between the Tar Heels and Gamecocks is at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
