The women’s hoops world is focused on Brooklyn, N.Y. this afternoon, where Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are facing the loaded New York Liberty.
South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley is in the building, and she’s got front row seats at Barclays Center to watch one of her former stars, Aliyah Boston.
Boston, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, is in her second season with the Fever.

Staley has seen the Liberty continue to flex their dominance over Indiana, who they beat 102-66 on Thursday.
New York led by 20 at halftime and still holds a 71-54 advantage late in the third quarter. All five Liberty starters have scored in double-figures, led by Breanna Stewart, who has 18 points after dropping 31 against the Fever two nights ago.
The good news for Indiana, is that we’re seeing the first glimpses of Clark looking like the player she was at the University of Iowa. After two rocky games to start her career, she’s got 20 points, five rebounds and six assists so far, showcasing some of her trademark shooting and playmaking ability.
You can watch the rest of Liberty-Fever on ABC, with the Las Vegas Aces and Los Angeles Sparks facing off at 3 p.m. ET on the same channel.
